Case Study: Lantower Midtown

Lantower Midtown

Client: JHP Architecture | Location: Dallas, TX | Services: Photography & Videography

Summary

Designed by JHP Architecture, Lantower Midtown is a multifamily community that redefines modern urban living in Dallas. Its architecture is bold yet approachable, merging contemporary lines with thoughtful spaces that reflect the rhythm of city life. Our team was commissioned to create a full suite of advanced commercial photography and video, translating the project’s architectural vision into a visual narrative that speaks to both design excellence and lifestyle.

About the Project

Positioned at the intersection of convenience and sophistication, Lantower Midtown offers residents access to Dallas’ vibrant Midtown district while maintaining a sense of retreat. The development features striking façades, generous amenities, and interior spaces designed for connection and comfort. JHP Architecture’s design emphasizes clean geometry, dynamic massing, and modern materiality; qualities that demanded a visual approach as intentional as the architecture itself.

Goals

Our task was not only to document the architecture but to communicate its spirit. The client sought photography and video that would:

  • Capture the building’s geometry and symmetry with clarity and artistry.
  • Highlight key amenity spaces, showing how design enhances resident lifestyle.
  • Showcase both daylight and twilight perspectives to reveal the architecture’s relationship with natural and artificial light.
  • Provide video storytelling that immerses viewers in the experience of living at Lantower Midtown, from the architecture to the energy of its community.

Strategy

To meet these goals, we used an approach that blended technical precision with creative storytelling:

  • Advanced commercial photography techniques, including off-camera lighting, were used to sculpt interiors, ensuring true-to-life depth, contrast, and color balance.
  • Exterior compositions were carefully timed for twilight and daylight to reveal the building’s material textures and dramatic interplay with light.
  • Geometry and symmetry were emphasized in framing, guiding the viewer’s eye across façades, courtyards, and interiors with balance and intention.
  • Lifestyle video was storyboarded to complement still imagery, highlighting daily rhythms, morning light in common areas, vibrant social energy in amenity spaces, and evening ambiance across the property.

Outcome

The final portfolio tells the complete story of Lantower Midtown: a project that is both architecturally compelling and deeply livable. Still photography captures JHP’s architectural vision in sharp detail, while video conveys the experience of place: how residents interact with spaces, light, and community. Together, these deliverables provided JHP Architecture with high-quality marketing assets that elevate their brand presence and reinforce their reputation for design leadership in Dallas’ competitive multifamily market.
