At Sharp Frame Media, we love connecting with Realtors and those serving the real estate community. We feel proud of all the women making a difference in the world. Women taking on leadership roles are women worth learning from. In this blog, we’d like to introduce you to an outstanding woman – Adriana Rodriguez.
Late in November, we were honored to attend the Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Antonio Officer’s Installation & Awards Ceremony for 2023. Our dear friend Adriana Rodriguez was officially installed as the 2023 President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Antonio. Sharp Frame Media celebrates her success as well as that of her leadership team.
We are honored to share some of her vision for the Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Antonio in 2023 along with some words of encouragement.
Interview with the President of WCR San Antonio, Adriana Rodriguez:
Can you tell me about the vision of the WCR of San Antonio?
“The Women’s Council of REALTORS focuses on leadership. Our mission statement is “We are a network of successful REALTORS advancing women as business leaders in the industry and in the communities that we serve. The San Antonio Network would like to connect with its members & future members to support each other’s goals and encourage and guide each other to become successful businesswomen and leaders.”
How long have you been in the real estate industry and how has WCR been a resource for your real estate career?
“I have been in the Real Estate Industry for 6 years. The Women’s Council of Realtors has been a resource to my real estate career in the way that I have grown as a leader by being involved and taking leadership positions. I have also gotten so much encouragement from my peers that it motivated me to follow the leadership path by participating in the TRLP (Texas Realtor Leadership Program). As I get more involved, I am building great relationships with Realtors across the state and nation that have brought me referred clients and both of us agents earned a commission.”
What do you hope to accomplish with WCRSA in the next year?
“The Women’s Council of Realtors San Antonio is looking to accomplish the following this year:
Why should women real estate professionals and affiliates join the organization?
“Do you want to connect and surround yourself with powerful women of influence to stay strong and grow your business? We are a network of successful Realtors advancing women as business leaders in the industry and the communities we serve.
Do you want to earn more commissions every year? Then you want to take advantage of the (Member Finder Feature) that includes your full profile, biography, and online referral platform that extends state and even nationwide.
In fact, “Member-to-Member referrals make up 54% of members referring business to each other annually.” I can tell you from my experience, last year, I received a referral from a member in the Dallas area who had a client looking for a home in San Antonio. I was able to assist her clients in the purchasing of their new home for $540,000 which I found in 8 days and closed 30 days after. The REALTOR was able to make a 20% referral fee. This is a HUGE member benefit, $$$$.
To our affiliates and strategic partners, we give you different opportunities to connect with us and build relationships with our Realtor members as we also brand your business with The Council.”
What would you tell any woman who looks forward to accomplishing a dream?
“I want to encourage every woman who is looking forward to accomplishing a dream to keep visualizing that dream no matter what comes their way, make a plan to work towards that dream, remember…”baby steps”, take action, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. You never know how things you do now, or the people you meet now, will be part of your dream later.”
The team at Sharp Frame Media would like to extend our congratulations and best wishes to all the women making a difference for the San Antonio real estate industry.
